Bhagat Singh Museum

The motive for revamping the original Bhagat Singh Museum is to upgrade it with the latest technologies and create immersive experiences for visitors. It informs the visitors about various movements led by Bhagat Singh and also brings out the ethos of the leader and its prevalence in today’s time.

Time Travel Through Singh’s Life

In the newly curated museum, a Central Art Installation holds the suspended ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ rotating in several languages. His Early Life and Family are displayed by a Digital Family Tree with a double-exposure effect in the center. An immersive room with Audio of his Mother’s Speech and a robotic figure with ancestral home fabrications make for another interactive exhibit. Highlights of the Ghadar Movement and the Komagata Maru Ship Incident are shown through Spotlight Projection Mapping. Another immersive show depicts the intensity of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and the Emergence of Revolutionary Spirit in the young Bhagat. Projection Mapping technology is also a part of the museum that showcases the revolutionary Simon Go Back Movement. Immersive experiences of the Bombing at the Delhi Assembly by Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt account for riveting life-like visuals.

Integration of Scenography and Shadow Projection showcases Bhagat Singh’s Hunger Strike with other revolutionaries and the use of broken glass pieces is done to depict the Execution of Bhagat Singh.

A display wall is installed in the museum, containing blood-stained newspapers, journal descriptions, and copies of judgments. Handwritten notes placed on multiple Vertical Podiums are highlighted through Spot Lighting as well. A Holographic Projection is also done to give a real-time feel to the visitors, and a mist projection is used to showcase Bhagat Singh’s qualities. Candle Lighting and a Flower Shower through AR is arranged to enable visitors to offer Shradhanjali to the leader for his contributions to the Indian Freedom Struggle. Visitors also have the option to receive a token of message through a personalised Letter from Bhagat Singh in his handwriting.
