Rashtragaan Campaign
A website owing to the Rashtragaan Campaign launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was conceptualized and developed by the Tagbin team for the Indian citizens to lend their voices to our National Anthem in a sentiment of oneness and a feeling of collective belonging to our Nation.

A Voice In Unison
More than 2.5 crore Indians recorded and uploaded their videos singing the National Anthem- ‘Jana Gana Mana’ on the web to commemorate India’s 75th Independence Day on 15 August 2021. Indians, across 218 countries, joined this unique endeavor of paying homage to the Nation through the union of their voices to sing the Rastragaan. Each singer was presented with a participation certificate for successfully uploading the video.
This has been applauded as the largest crowd-sourced initiative in India to date. The staggering response has led to an extension of this program by a year beyond August 15, 2021. Prior to the launch, on July 25, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had given a clarion call to the people of the country to sing the National Anthem together in his Mann Ki Baat radio programme.
Rashtragaan Campaign
Tagbin conceived this initiative as a tribute to the unity of our diverse country. The technical prowess of Tagbin successfully stood the test of collating such a high number of recorded videos and artfully presenting them on August 15, 2021.
The articulation of videos was then later amalgamated in sync to generate one single voice of the nation singing the Rashtragaan which was then played at the Red Fort after the address of the Prime Minister. The campaign is evidence of the inherent unity, strength and harmony of India.
