The multimedia exhibition at Cuttack, India based on the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi celebrated Gandhiji’s 150th birth anniversary. The exhibition employed digital multimedia and the latest technology to put forth the information. The show was on display from 21st to 25th October.
At the exhibition, a huge awareness rally on Swachh Bharat, Green India and boycott of single-use plastics was held to inform the students of the surge in the use of plastic in our country, which is detrimental to the environment. A road rally was later joined by the various groups of society, marking a Jan Andolan, to spread the message of “Say No to Plastic”. Students of Achilles Public School, cadets of NCC and many other schools and colleges wholeheartedly participated in this cause. Welcoming more than 1000 visitors every day, the aim of the Ministry, to educate people on Gandhiji philosophy was accomplished by this exhibition.
