Depiction Of Life Through Technology

A variety of technologies are deployed to showcase the various aspects of the Adikavi’s life. As one enters the museum, one witnesses a huge sculpture of Bhagwan Valmiki with a 180-degree projection done in the backdrop highlighting the different attributes he possessed. Another projection done on a cylindrical glass curtain displays the story of his birth and life as quoted in the Ramayan.

Various attributes of holographic projections are utilized in the museum to exhibit 3D immersive experiences for the visitors like in the zone titled The First Poet. A projection wall is also designed for the presentation of The First Epic that showcases the entire creation of the epic as narrated by Bhagwan Valmiki.

A Replica Of Ramayan

Ramayan ki Prastuti is a replica of the ancient Ramayan, details of which are projected on a transparent screen above the book. Ramayan ka Srijan is curated to be an exhibit in a 270-degree immersive room where reflective text is projected on the screen giving a summary of the entire epic. 3-D Projection is also used in the kinetic replica of the holy book Yog Vaasishtha placed on an artificial stone. Another use of holographic projection and scenography is done in the zone that talks about the life of Maa Sita and Luv-Kush. The story of the war between the army and Luv-Kush is presented through Projection Mapping and scenography in the Ashwamedh Yagya zone.

Creative Installations That Add To The Beauty

Two sections titled Yogeshwar and Sangeeteshwar are depicted through a metal art installation on a transparent screen which highlights how Bhagwan Valmiki was a master of Yog and music. Another exhibit called Sanjivani Vidya Ke Swami is also a scenography made with kinetic installations and a 3D sculpture of Bhagwan Valmiki.

Multiple graphic backlit screens are hung all around the museum to give an in-depth knowledge of Bhagwan Valmiki’s various teachings. Saptam Dhwani Jaap also plays in the background as the mantra gets projected on digital screens. An installation for Bhagwan Valmiki Namamala has also been created under the various names given to him. These letters of these names are suspended from the ceiling so that visitors can read them while walking down the ramp.

Panorama On Bhagwan Valmiki

Before exiting the museum, the visitors can garner Bhagwan Valmiki’s blessings in an interactive zone that is based on the concept of Prasad given in temples. Here, they can answer pre-fed questions projected on a surface and take the responses home as souvenirs. These responses are available as printouts on handmade paper.  A library is also available that houses all the renditions of Adikavi’s work and also the many books that have been written on him. Digital access to this library is also made available.
