Interactive Charkha-Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Launch

On the occasion of the launch of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, to commemorate the celebrations of India’s 75th Independence Day, Tagbin presented an initiative to keep Gandhiji’s ideologies alive with a social media campaign #VocalForLocal.

Charkha-Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

An idea conceptualized by Tagbin, during the launch event of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a social media campaign titled ‘Vocal for Local’ was launched. As a part of this campaign, a huge Interactive Charkha was installed at the Sabarmati Ashram which took a spin every time someone tweeted their story of buying a local product with the #Vocalforlocal. 

This initiative served the purpose of igniting a feeling of patriotism among the citizens of the country by urging them to buy products that are ‘Made in India’. A video of the users’ tweets was displayed alongside the Charkha as it spun once in significance.
